Renovation Crew Leader

Job Summary

As the Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 2-3 laborers from the demolition phase through the final punch list. You’ll ensure the team has the tools, materials, and guidance needed to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results. Additionally, you'll focus on reducing waste, controlling costs, and holding crew members accountable for their work.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on remodeling tasks, including demolition, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
• Lead, manage, and hold crew members accountable to maintain efficiency and quality standards
• Ensure laborers have the tools, materials, and direction needed to succeed
• Identify and implement process improvements to save time and reduce costs
• Monitor material usage and prevent unnecessary waste
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and running on schedule
• Communicate with management regarding project progress and any issues that arise
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential remodeling, construction, or house flipping
• Leadership experience, preferably in a hands-on role
• Strong skills in light carpentry, painting, drywall, and general home renovations
• Ability to manage time, resources, and labor efficiently
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Knoxville
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation

• $25 - $30 per hour
• Project Bonuses based on Timeline and Budget

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
